SUBMARINE ACOUSTIC ANTENNA
This set of tools enables the multi-level integration of electromechanical subassemblies into a sonar antenna element.

SUBMARINE ACOUSTIC ANTENNA
The mission's challenge
The positioning of the sensors in space, coupled with the compactness of the system and the injection ramp, presented a significant challenge.
Specificity
Production machine that keeps up with production rates.Technical characteristics

Operational characteristics
These tools are designed to position, electrically connect, and over-mold a set of electronic, electrical, and mechanical components in an elastomer casing that serves as both the container and the geometric reference for all these components.
This assembly consists of:
- A tool for holding the case and preventing it from deforming during the injection phases of the various resin castings.
- A sensor and IC wiring table.
- A tool for integrating sensors and ICs by suction.
- A resin injection ramp.
Delivery times
The entire delivery was completed in less than a year, in several stages:
- Project management
- Mechanical studies and analyses
- Manufacture of the tools required to inspect the components
- Manufacture
- Qualification tests
Certifications
This equipment complies with European standards 2006/42/EC.
