SPACECRAFT ROTATING TILTING STAND
The Spacecraft Rotating Tilting Stand is a state-of-the-art mechanical equipment designed for handling, orienting, tilting, and rotating satellites, payloads, or space equipment.
It supports all critical integration and testing phases in an ISO 8 cleanroom environment up to the launchpad.
The mission's challenge
Design and manufacture an ultra-rigid support equipment capable of safely handling high-value payloads up to 5 tonnes with a 3-meter overhang.
The main challenge was the smooth combination of three kinematic motions in a strict ISO 8 cleanroom environment, while ensuring full safety redundancy and strict compliance with European standards.
Specificity
High-precision welded steel architecture combining 3-axis kinematics and a secured control system with integrated touchscreen Human-Machine Interface.Technical characteristics
